The Board is delighted to announce the acquisition of ‘Simtek EMS’ located in Margate, Kent.  Simtek is an electronics manufacturer of life affirming, life protecting and lifesaving products.

Founded in 1995 (as Konav Ltd) from a joint venture between Koden (a Japanese electronics company) and Navico Limited, the company primarily built marine radar systems. Over the years the company has experienced major expansion as an EMS / CEM company and now has a diverse product range and customer base with an annual turnover of £7m.

Services include full turn-key solutions of surface mount PCB assembly, conventional PCB assembly and electro-mechanical assembly, taking products from initial concept through to delivery.

These capabilities backed with outstanding levels of customer service and a truly skilled workforce will further strengthen the capabilities and competences of the electronics division of the Pexion Group.

Paul Myerscough, Group Managing Director comments “Simtek adds great strength to our ability to provide complete electronic product manufacturing solutions, via long term customer partnerships; especially those in safety critical and regulated industries where quality is paramount.  Simtek fits well with SKN Electronics and Nitronica, extending our existing capabilities.”
